On March 19, 2025, the China Plastics Machinery Industry Association organized industry experts to hold an appraisal meeting in Suzhou for the "JWG-HDPE 2700mm Ultra-Large Diameter Solid Wall Pipe Production Line" and "8000mm Wide Width Extrusion Calendered Geomembrane Production Line" developed by Suzhou Jwell Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The appraisal committee unanimously agreed that both products were domestic firsts and reached international advanced levels, and agreed to pass the appraisal.
1. Activity Introduction
Many leaders and experts in the rubber and plastics industry served as members of the expert group of the appraisal committee. Academician Wu Daming served as the chairman, Su Dongping (Executive Vice President of China Plastics Machinery Industry Association) and Wang Zhanjie (Chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association) served as vice chairmen, Zhang Xiangmu (former director of the Equipment Department of the Ministry of Light Industry), Professor Xie Linsheng, Yang Hong, Ren Zhongen and other members also attended the event, adding authority to the appraisal. The event opened with a speech by Ms. Su Dongping, Executive Vice President of China Plastic Machinery Association. With her rich experience and profound professional knowledge accumulated in the industry, as the host of this meeting, President Su introduced in detail the core content and significance of the meeting: the new technology appraisal of large-scale equipment of JWG-HDPE 2700mm high-speed energy-saving solid wall pipe production line and 8000mm wide extrusion calendering high-yield geomembrane production line.
Afterwards, the technical directors of Suzhou Jwell's Pipeline Equipment Division and Sheet Equipment Division respectively introduced the technical highlights and innovative designs of the 2700mm pipe production line and 8000mm geomembrane production line equipment in detail. The experts also raised many technical details in detail from their respective areas of expertise.
From the perspective of the end user, Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, made detailed inquiries and guidance on the internal flow channel design and temperature control of the large extrusion die heads of the two production lines, as well as key technical nodes such as energy saving. He also encouraged Jwell, as an equipment manufacturer, to participate more in the supplementation and improvement of the standards for ultra-large diameter pipe products.
2. Visit the workshop

The appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the two production line products are domestic firsts, and the process technology, equipment performance, product quality and other aspects have reached the international advanced level, and agreed to pass the appraisal!
